電機保護器一般分兩種:過載/流保護和過熱保護。它是在電動機過載/流或發熱且其溫度超過允許值時動作的元器件。軟啟動器是為降低電動機在啟動時的電流(對電動機,也對電網)的沖擊,而采取的一種降壓啟動方式。
變頻器是通過改變電動機的頻率,來改變電動機的轉速,以實現無級調速的功能。變頻器雖然是通過改變頻率來實現變速的,但一般在電動機啟動時,它也可以降低電動機的啟動電流,達到與軟啟動器一樣的效果。但軟啟動器只是在電動機的啟動階段使用,而在電動機正常工作時就會(通過旁路電路)斷開與電動機之間的連接;它也不會起到調速的效果。
所以,可以用變頻器替換軟啟動器工作,但不能用軟啟動器替代變頻器的工作。變頻器的價格較軟啟動器高出許多,如果僅僅為啟動電動機而使用變頻器的話就不太合適。電機保護器不可替代軟啟動器和變頻器;變頻器和軟啟動器也不可替代保護器。
在橋式起重機中,電機保護器對電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)機(ji)起關鍵性保(bao)護作用的(de)(de)裝置只有(you)過(guo)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流繼(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)。在實(shi)際工(gong)(gong)作中(zhong),電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)機(ji)啟(qi)(qi)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)時(shi)(shi),瞬間電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流超過(guo)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)機(ji)額(e)定(ding)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流,加之電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)機(ji)的(de)(de)液(ye)壓制(zhi)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)器(qi)與(yu)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)機(ji)同(tong)時(shi)(shi)加電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)啟(qi)(qi)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)時(shi)(shi)固有(you)的(de)(de)不同(tong)步效(xiao)應,更增(zeng)大了電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)機(ji)啟(qi)(qi)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流,使得(de)(de)過(guo)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流繼(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)整(zheng)定(ding)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流的(de)(de)調整(zheng)往(wang)往(wang)高出電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)機(ji)額(e)定(ding)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流的(de)(de)幾倍。如果吊車(che)在工(gong)(gong)作中(zhong)出現特殊情況時(shi)(shi)極(ji)易造成損(sun)壞。就比如液(ye)壓制(zhi)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)器(qi)故障,導致與(yu)液(ye)壓制(zhi)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)器(qi)連鎖反(fan)應的(de)(de)抱閘不能完全打開或(huo)抱緊;或(huo)者(zhe)人為因素造成超負(fu)荷吊運而得(de)(de)不到電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流繼(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)的(de)(de)保(bao)護,使電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)動(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)機(ji)因長(chang)時(shi)(shi)間超額(e)定(ding)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流工(gong)(gong)作而燒毀。
