  某些大型電機冷卻系統故障或是長時間工作在高溫高濕環境下造成電機故障。電動機保護原理的研究是保證電動機保護器性能高低的關鍵,根據三相對稱分量法的理論,三個不對稱的向量可以唯一分解成三組對稱的向量,分別為正序分量、負序分量和零序分量。電動機在發生對稱故障和不對稱故障時,電動機的三相電流都會發生變化。電動機故障條件流過繞組的電流過大,超過電動機的額定電流,因此可根據這一特征來對電動機過電流進行保護。電機過載、斷相、欠壓都會造成繞組電流超過額定值。電源電壓欠壓,運行電流上升的比例將等于電壓下降的比例;電機過載時,常造成堵轉,此時的運行電流會大大超過額定電流。針對以上情況,電動機保護器可通過對(dui)三相運(yun)行電(dian)流進行檢(jian)測,根據運(yun)行電(dian)流的不(bu)同(tong)性(xing)質來(lai)確定不(bu)同(tong)的保護方(fang)式,從而對(dui)電(dian)機予以的斷電(dian)保護。
